We have broken ground on what is to be the next chapter of the Echo Mountain story. It is bittersweet as we hate to say goodbye to the fabulous Church and API studios in which so many incredible records have been made, but the studios we are building on a mountaintop 20 mins north of town are going to be epic. We are taking everything we have learned from 20 years of running a studio and making records and applying it to a from the ground up studio construction. IT WILL BE SICK. The main room designs are basically complete and we are getting more excited by the day imagining all the cool stuff that will happen there. There will be lodging on site for those who want it making it a creative retreat situation for out of towners or a beautiful day trip for WNC artists. Echo Mountain 2.0! We are still taking bookings in the original Echo Mountain until September 2025 so don’t miss your chance to cut one last record before the OG Echo goes away.
